Fit for purpose-
Brianna: Great for running to work and back and around for errands and around tight suburban streets and great maneuverability for parking and driving. It was also economical, sitting at around 6.1L/100km.
Alex: What a great car for a young couple who lives in the inner city area where they need a little car for tight parking and navigating narrow streets. It will park almost anywhere
Design-
Brianna: This car had both aspects of sporty and cool, and little and cute. This was matched in the interior, with a sporty strip in the seats and a cute feel to the dash and front area. There wasn’t great space in the middle console and better cup holders would have been appreciated.
While there was adequate room in the front, the back seats were almost non existent and a very small boot. Not the best for families or going away with another couple. The mirrors in this small car had amazing visibility.
Alex: The Picanto GT had a stylish and sleek look to it. A reasonable boot size for that type of car. Had a pretty good dashboard, even better if added a GPS, however great Bluetooth and sound system for that type of car.
Performance –
Brianna: The car was fairly smooth to drive, I found the manual a bit touchy, however the longer you drive it the more you would get use to that type. It had decent power for the fuel economy. Driving this in peak hour wasn’t great with the manual however it was what you need to get you from a to b.
Alex: As a passenger I found this car ran quiet smoothly and handled very well. It also had a decent amount of power.
Comfort-
Brianna: I found the Picanto comfortable for both the driver and front seat passenger however there is no room in the back seats. Great for both your every day to day stuff and short trips, air con was decent making your trips even more enjoyable.
Alex: The seats were very comfortable and surprisingly there was plenty of leg space for the front seats for a small hatch back. The cabin area was a little cramped for larger occupants, however the seat adjustment was easy to use to get into that comfy position for any trip.
Verdict-
Brianna: For the price it is a great little car for any younger person or couple who doesn’t need to do long trips. I would not recommend for families purely due to the size factor. For couples, its not great for going on long holidays in, however if this was your second car as you want to save on petrol and need it for work it is great. Better suited as an inner city runabout.
Alex: Overall a very functional car for inner city living, would highly recommend for anyone who needs a little functional car to get to and from work with out spending lots on petrol.
