2020 Lexus UX F Sport Radio Review

Lexus joined the seemingly insatiable push for small SUVs with the release of the Lexus UX in 2019.

Can the Lexus brand offering translate to a small SUV? With the Urban Crossover UX F Sport. Rob Fraser takes the AWD Hybrid for a drive to see where it fits in.

Lexus UX is designed purely as an urban runabout. A gateway product offering to introduce buyers to the brand and for those that want to downsize yet retain brand loyalty.

Built on the same global platform as the new Toyota C-HR, the UX has an edgy design, is absolutely packed with clever features and technology has a five start ANCAP safety rating and boasts a new 2.0L Hybrid engine mated to a CVT and an electronic AWD system.

However Lexus persists with the mouse scratch pad that is a little annoying and while it has spritely performance and handling, it seems a little devoid of personality.

At around $61,000 plus the usual costs it definitely is at the pricey end of the segment, but they will sell a lot of these.
