Ford Ranger Raptor was first introduced to Australia in 2018 as an off road performance Ute and became instantly popular with buyers.
With a bold American truck like appearance, BF Goodrich AT tyres and specialised Fox suspension the Raptor certainly looks the part.
Inside there are leather/suede powered and heated sports front seats, sat-nav, climate-control, lane-keep assist and a bunch of other safety and comfort features.
Raptor is driven by the 2.0L Bi turbo diesel engine producing power of 157kW and torque of 500Nm, with a 10 speed transmission and terrain management system.
Rated at only 2000kg for towing its not ideal for the caravan but its strength lies in driving fast along dirt roads and for that its awesome. The suspension sorts the bumps and corrugations better than any other Ute and is comfortable around town as well.
Raptor is priced from around $77,500 plus the usual costs and comes with a 5 year unlimited km warranty.
