Introducing The All-New Subaru Impreza:
Striking Design That Embraces Limitless Adventure With Unparalleled Handling Dynamics And Cutting-Edge Safety
Human-Centered Design Approach
A new design approach based on the structure of the human body has been adopted for the all-new Subaru Impreza. Subaru Corporation in Japan collaborated with a medical school to study the structure of the human body and the mechanisms behind what causes driver discomfort, fatigue and lower back pain on longer journeys.
By adopting a human-centred design approach, almost every aspect of the interior has been meticulously crafted to elevate driver and passenger ergonomics and ensure utmost comfort during both short commutes and long journeys.
Styling
The exterior design conveys a heightened sense of athleticism, showcased through its sharper and more dynamic exterior. The front fascia embodies a sense of expansiveness, highlighted by the commanding presence of a large hexagonal honeycombed grille.
Moving to the side profile, the vehicle’s sleek and trim form is accentuated by precise contour lines running along the lower door region, casting distinct and dramatic shadows.
The result is a harmonious blend of form and function that captures the essence of the Impreza’s spirited personality.
Headlights and taillights
The all-new model showcases elegant and chic dusk-sensing LED headlights, serving to enhance nocturnal visibility while concurrently aiding in decreasing power consumption.
Additionally, the model featuresLED rear combination lamps, characterised by a contemporary and distinctive C-shaped signature with a three-dimensional aspect.
Moreover, the Impreza AWD 2.0R and AWD 2.0S variants incorporate Steering Responsive Headlights (SRH) along with front cornering lamps.
Wheels and tyres
Newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels are fitted to Impreza AWD 2.0L, whilst AWD 2.0R and 2.0S feature 18-inch alloy wheels also with a refreshed designed.

Interior
Elevating Interior Excellence
The interior of the all-new Subaru Impreza has been completely redesigned to create a sophisticated cabin that is loaded with shiny new technology to make every ride more enjoyable, comfortable, and convenient.
Drivers and occupants will be immediately impressed by the surfeit of high-tech features, soft touch materials and premium seating textiles available in each variant.
Infotainment
Subaru has dialled up the energy when it comes to infotainment in the all-new Subaru Impreza, with a huge high-definition 11.6-inch vertically oriented touchscreen system that sits proudly in the centre of the cockpit.
Connectivity to your smartphone is made simple with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone connectivity3 plus owners will enjoy the ultimate convenience of fast, wireless Qi charging.
First available in the all-new Subaru Crosstrek launched earlier this year, Impreza AWD 2.0R and AWD 2.0S feature a panoramic 360-degree view monitor to help improve visibility around the vehicle and prevention of accidents. A 3D birds-eye view is made available on the 11.6-inch touchscreen via combining images from all four cameras around the vehicle.
Universally used Type-A and Type-C USB ports are made available at the front of the cabin, whilst rear passengers in the Impreza AWD 2.0R and AWD 2.0S will enjoy USB-A and USB-C ports (power supply only).
Audio
Sound is made available for Impreza AWD 2.0L and 2.0R via a high-quality six-speaker system featuring 160mm full range speakers in both the front and rear doors, as well as tweeters in the front instrument panel exhibiting flat-frequency characteristics.
The premium Harmon Kardon® 10-speaker audio system is available for the first time on a Subaru Impreza model. This is exclusive to Impreza AWD 2.0S.
Seats
An upgraded seating mounting arrangement has been introduced between the chassis and the seat to minimise seat movement and enhance the overall smoothness of the ride.
The seat rail has been affixed directly to the chassis, leading to heightened structural solidity of the mounting components. This advancement in direct mounting has also contributed to better vibration absorption, culminating in a reduction (over the previous generation model) in lateral seat movement (in the passenger seat).
As with the current Impreza, longer cushions on the rear seats supports the back and knees to help reduce fatigue and increase comfort during longer journeys.
All variants feature a 60:40 split folding rear seat design for storage versatility and convenience.
These seat design attributes contribute to a more ergonomic and relaxed ride.
Seat trims
Subaru Impreza 2.0L features a new tricot fabric.
Taking a step up the range, the Subaru Impreza AWD 2.0R features black premium cloth seat trim, and the AWD 2.0S feature chic leather accented seats.

Subaru Impreza Safety
Advanced Safety Innovations
The all-new Subaru Impreza continues Subaru Corporation in Japan’s most ambitious safety vision yet – working towards zero fatal accidents in a Subaru vehicle by the year 20306.
This safety vision is underpinned by the four vital safety pillars of Primary, Active, Preventative and Protective safety that all work cohesively to achieve Subaru’s ‘All-Around’ approach to automotive manufacturing. By combining holistic design principals, advanced safety technologies and state-of-the-art future technologies, Subaru aims to provide innate safety and peace-of-mind to allow Subaru families to travel with confidence and enjoyment.
Safety equipment
The all-new Subaru Impreza features the latest generation Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist System. This adds the latest stereo camera system with significantly improved image recognition and a new Wide-angle Monocular Camera which acts as a ‘third eye’ which has a notably wider viewing angle. This additional camera also enhances the performance to recognise pedestrians and bicycles when the vehicle is entering an intersection at low speed.
New to the Subaru Impreza range, all variants are equipped with Subaru’s leading-edge DMS which carefully watches over the driver’s seat for signs of drowsiness, lack of attention on the road or fatigue is detected. If any of these signs are identified, a warning is displayed on the Multi-Information Display (MID) and infotainment screen.
All Subaru Impreza variants feature Subaru’s Vision Assist. When combined with progressive features of EyeSight® this enables full perimeter preventative safety features. Subaru Vision Assist functions vary depending on variant, refer to the full list of specifications.
The latest iteration of the Subaru Impreza contains 9 SRS airbags, compared to the previous generation 7 SRS airbags, to help further protect all occupants in the event of a collision. This includes for the first time in a Subaru Impreza the adoption of a far side airbag which focuses on protecting occupants on the non-collision side.
Performance
Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
Synonymous with Subaru, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is standard for all Subaru Impreza model variants.
The Symmetrical AWD is mounted to a refined Subaru Global Platform which delivers a further ten per cent increase in torsional rigidity.
There are numerous benefits of Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD but primarily the system enables superior traction in more difficult road conditions, such as wet or icy bitumen allowing for greater driving confidence.
Engine
An enhanced and dynamically spirited 2.0-litre direct injection Boxer engine serves as the propulsive heart of the all-new Subaru Impreza, delivering refined and balanced performance. This powerplant is a proven formula which has provided enjoyment and confidence for drivers over decades.
Transmission
A refined Lineartronic® transmission with 8-speed paddle shift manual mode is equipped across the range. This combination adds an extra layer of engagement and control to the driving experience.
Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive)
The new generation Impreza retains SI-Drive to enhance the vehicle’s driving performance by refining throttle and acceleration response. SI-Drive offers two distinct modes: Intelligent (I) mode and Sport (S) mode.
