Audi Q4 e-tron: Audi recently announced the details of their new Q4 e-tron at a recent private event that I attended.
The Q4, as you would expect sits almost exactly between the popular Q5 and the stylish Q3.
Q4 e-tron comes in a choice of two body styles, the SUV and Sportback. There are two drive trains, rear wheel drive and Quattro and two power levels, the Q4 45 with 135kW DC charging and Q4 55 with 175kW DC charging. All models come with a 77-kWh battery.
Pricing ranges from around $88,000 through to $109,500 plus the usual costs.
There are a few clever features, depending on the model, such as
- customisable matrix headlights,
- three stage coasting recuperation,
- Augmented reality head up display
Of course, there are the usual Audi features such as virtual cockpit, leather seats, heated front seats and climate controlled air conditioning.
When the Q4 comes in the first half of 2024, it will give buyers another option for an all-electric premium SUV in the smaller-mid size segment.
This is what buyers want. Choice of powertrain to suit their needs.
