BMW Australia Reveals M Sport Package For X1 – News

2011 BMW X1 M Sport SAV

The BMW X1 AWD SUV is very popular in Australia and BMW have today announced details of its exclusive M Sport package for the X1.

The X1 M Sport package features stylish and sporty exterior and interior enhancements combined with upgraded suspension and chassis components which emphasise the driving characteristics of this versatile and compact Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV).

Exterior styling is transformed by the visually distinctive M Aerodynamic package and 17” M light alloy wheels in Double-Spoke style. BMW high gloss Shadow Line exterior trim and roof rails, and door sill finishers displaying M designation complete the sporty exterior look.

The standard X1 interior space is enhanced with Sport seats trimmed in exclusive ‘Grey Shadow’ / Alcantara Anthracite upholstery which is offered as standard with the X1 M Sport package and complimented by the BMW Individual roofliner in Anthracite. Interior trim finishers in cross-brushed Aluminium Dark, and an M leather steering wheel add further sporting touches.

The inclusion of BMW’s Peformance Control on xDrive models optimises torque distribution between the rear wheels to provide particularly dynamic cornering and increased agility. All variants further benefit from the inclusion of the specially tuned M Sport suspension (which can be deleted as a no cost option) guaranteeing direct handling and a true sporting feel.

As further enhancements to the M Sport package customers can choose from a range of options including Nevada leather upholstery, 18” M light alloy wheels in Double spoke style and Chrome Line exterior trim.
