LEK consulting have produced a report that says most of us won’t own a car by 2050.
Young people today who will be at or near retirement by then and they are much more open to alternatives but some people may still want to own a car as a battery storage unit or as a quiet place to escape to as well as to travel.
The point that LEK wanted to emphasis is that there could be $62 billion in business around the alternatives.
I met the young CEO of Jet Charge who produce charging systems for electric cars but also systems on how to incorporate that car with a big battery into your everyday life.
