Ford Kuga to be previewed at AIMS

The 2013 Ford Kuga AT AIMS 2012
The all-new Ford Kuga will premiere at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney ahead of its 2013 launch.

Already on its way to becoming a best-seller in North America*, the Ford Kuga is an important part of Ford Australia’s AIMS show experience.

“The all-new Ford Kuga opens a new chapter in the world of compact SUVs where its blend of capability, technology and fuel efficiency will ring true for the customers,” said Ford Australia president and CEO, Bob Graziano.

In keeping with its role as a versatile activity vehicle, the Ford Kuga delivers more versatility, ample luggage space and interior roominess, plus a level of craftsmanship and quality that customers around the world now demand.

Apart from a more streamlined, stylish design, the newest member of the Ford Australia family will introduce new customer-focused smart technologies, including SYNC infotainment system, which has just arrived in the revised Focus line-up.

Ford designers have made the Ford Kuga even more customer friendly, incorporating more interior space and a faster silhouette, a more precise design execution and a higher quality feel.

The closer customers get to the all-new Ford Kuga, the more they will love it, says Graziano.

The muscular, defined exterior shape is complemented by a dynamic, well-appointed interior featuring new levels of craftsmanship and technology. The cabin is modern and sophisticated and captures the expressive design and enhanced functionality of the vehicle.

Improved materials and attention to detail highlight the interior of the two Ford Kugas that will be on display, including:

A soft-touch instrument panel
Wrapped, padded and stitched door armrests
Deep padding on console armrests
The soft upper roll on doors
Elimination of exposed fasteners in glove box and sun visor pivots
Premium sports seats

The new EcoSport and award-winning Ford Territory will join the Ford Kuga as part of Ford Australia’s SUV family at AIMS.
