Ford FX4 Max sits just under the Raptor and is aimed at the recreational 4WD market as well as those that may need to use the Ute for work.

Combined, the 20mm suspension lift and All-Terrain tyres sees FX4 MAX’s ride height 31mm above Ranger XLT, with outright ground clearance to rear differential increased by 19mm to 256mm. In addition, the FX4 MAX delivers greater approach and departure angles than Ranger XLT, to take full advantage of its switchable 4×4 system

Similar to the Ranger Raptor, FX4 MAX brings unique stance and exterior treatments, including Conquer Grey paintwork, as well as “F.O.R.D” grille, metal ‘hoop’ sidesteps, unique alloy wheels and full-length sports bar

Ranger FX4 MAX boasts 981kg payload and 3500kg towing and the twin turbo 2 litre diesel engine and 10 speed AT.

Ranger FX4 Max is priced from $66,190 plus the usual costs.
