Genesis GV80 3.0D AWD SUV Luxury Pack 2022 Motoring Minute Review

We drive the Genesis GV80 on a road test review

Genesis GV80 – Large SUVs have become very popular however two years ago Genesis wasn’t a name that buyers thought of usually, but in a short space of time the Genesis GV80 has carved itself a niche following

2021 Genesis GV80 3.0D AWD (LuxuryPack) frontThe GV80 is amongst the most stylish of large SUVs, appearing smaller than it actually is. It looks good from any angle with its coupe styling, long bonnet and large grill.

Step inside and the occupants want for almost nothing. It’s packed with comfort, luxury and safety features.

The heated and cooled front seats are unbelievably comfortable with the diamond stitched quilted leather. There is a huge middle screen for all the infotainment and connectivity controls, as well as a large display and HUD for the driver.

The six seat version means that the middle row is only two seats and that’s ok as most times there are two people there. Its got extra seats that are not bad for shorter trips as well as a large sized boot area.

The 3.0L diesel engine is quiet, smooth, economical and powerful enough.

Priced from a bit over $118,500 it’s a little expensive but you get a lot for your money and great value compared to a similar European SUV.
