Honda Australia – The refreshed Honda Civic has been confirmed for the Australian market with a new hybrid grade added to the lineup, bolstering Honda’s hybrid offering for Australian consumers.
The new, refreshed Honda Civic will be available in two hybrid options to choose from. Making Civic the second Honda model in Australia a 100% hybrid lineup. Both grades will feature Honda’s advanced e:HEV two-motor hybrid powertrain. This provides an optimal balance of fuel efficiency and dynamic performance.
Two-grade Lineup for the Honda Civic
The two-grade lineup features the new e:HEV L and the top-grade e:HEV LX. Both are equipped with premium features as standard including Honda ConnectD64 with Google built-in™ and enhancements to the exterior styling.
Building on the current strengths of the Civic nameplate, both hybrid grades emphasise a sleek and sporty exterior. The refreshed model sees Civic’s sporty styling further enhanced with a new refined front bumper and grille, and improved aerodynamics.
50 years since the launch of the Civic
It has been 50 years since this iconic nameplate was launched in Australia. Honda has continued to build on the Civic’s perfect balance of comfort and technology. Whilst maintaining an impressive driving experience . Adding a new hybrid grade to the Civic family solidifies Honda’s commitment to electrification by expanding the hybrid offering across the range.

This Civic receives the next generation of Honda Connect, which will now include Google built-in apps and services like Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play Store.

New colours for the refreshed model include Seabed Blue and Sonic Grey.
