Honda CRV VTi L7 2021 Radio Review

Honda CR-V LT i-L7 Honda CRV is big for its size but can you squeeze seven people in there. Honda updated their popular CRV range mid-year with a refreshed styling, more equipment and safety as well as smart phone connectivity as standard

I drove the VTi – L7 seat version and came to the conclusion that as a five seat SUV the CRV is excellent, but as a seven seat version its compromised.

The L7 version is well equipped with leather-appointed seat trim, heated front seats and 8-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat. It also has hands-free power tailgate and wireless charging, LED headlights and fog lights as well as privacy glass.

The CRV drives nicely, is smooth and has reasonable handling. It’s cavernous for five people with plenty of room for them. The last two people need to be very young to fit comfortably.

I struggle to understand why buyers want seven seats in this size vehicle, seriously if you need more seats buy something bigger.

Priced from $43,490 plus the usual costs, the CRV is an excellent vehicle that is better as a five seater
