Hyundai launches i40 Sedan

Hyundai i40 Sedan
Following the much-anticipated launch of the Hyundai i40 Tourer in 2011, Hyundai Motor Company Australia has launched the latest addition to the Hyundai range – the new i40 Sedan. Designed and engineered at the Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the new i40 Sedan further represents Hyundai’s commitment to delivering vehicles which combine sleek Euro-styling with efficiency and affordability.

Expressing Hyundai’s signature “fluidic sculpture” design language, the new i40 Sedan features the latest technologies and fuel efficient powertrains to bring an exciting sedan with an impressive on-road presence.

The i40 Sedan delivers a high level of premium specifications with a focus on quality and style, offering modern design, surprising interior space and an abundance of comfort and safety features.

Hyundai brings all-new satellite navigation technology into the i40 Sedan, which operates with SUNA live traffic updates visible on a centre-fascia mounted 7” full colour screen.

The new i40 Sedan again demonstrates Hyundai’s expertise in engine technology, incorporating the ‘U-II’ 1.7-litre CRDi diesel engine and the 2.0-litre GDI engine from Hyundai’s ‘Nu’ engine family. Both are available with a six-speed manual (Active models) or an optional six-speed automatic transmission featuring steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
