Isuzu D-MAX LS-M Crew Cab 4WD Ute 2022 Motoring Minute Review

Isuzu D Max LS-M 4WD Crew Cab Ute 2022 front

Isuzu D-MAX LS-M 4WD Crew Cab Ute – Like many Utes the Isuzu D-MAX has a wide range to choose from.

This week I am driving a variant that is extremely popular across the range as a work Ute, Recreation Ute as well as a tow vehicle. The LS-M Crew Cab 4WD.

The reason why this is so popular is that it comes with a lot of useful additions over the basic SX model without some of the bling of the LS-U that some buyers don’t feel is necessary.

Again with heavy duty leaf suspension, a pay load of 1070kg, easy clean vinyl floors, no side steps, 17 inch alloy wheels it is ready for whatever an owner wants to throw at it.

It does miss out on a few little creature comforts like additional driver lumbar support, leather steering wheel, slightly smaller central screen, keyless entry and start etc. But they are a small price to pay for some $5,000 savings over the next model up

What it does have though is the full 3500kg tow capacity, full suite if safety features from IDAS, excellent payload capacity and formidable 4WD capability. It does ride a little harder than the LS-U because of the heavy duty leaf springs but makes up for that with increased payload.

Like all the D-MAX 4WD Utes its robust and reliable workhorse.

It comes down to what features are important to the buyer, but the D-MAX LS-M has proved to be extremely popular.
