Is the Isuzu D-MAX X-TERRAIN the best 4WD Ute on the market, Stick Around for a minute and find out.
Launched late last year the updated D-Max became the segment leader in safety features for Utes along with class leading features such as wireless Apple Car Play, walk away locking and more.
For buyers the IDAS Intelligent Driver Assist System starts with the entry level SX models which is a bonus.
The key to the D-MAX though is just how easy it is to drive around every day. Revised suspension and engine tune have provided smoother and more relaxed driving as well as better economy.

As a family car all Utes are compromised by rear leg room, apart from the RAM 1500, but as a 4WD or tow vehicle the D-Max is excellent, with premium features, comfort and advanced safety and connectivity technology.
X-Terrain is priced from only $63,900 plus the usual costs it should be on everyone list for a premium Dual Cab Ute. The premium 4WD Ute segment is very competitive and sales of Utes has boomed in recent years so every manufacturer is giving more and more for buyers.
Is it the best 4WD Ute on the market, well listeners will have to wait until we do our COTY comparisons in the next few months?
