Adventure without compromise
Inside, the cabin features rugged design elements, and incorporates countless premium features to provide a rich driving experience for everyone on board.
Passengers are treated to an airy interior, synthetic leather seats, colour-selectable ambient lighting (Track and above) and Jaecoo’s intelligent voice command. Allowing occupants to open the windows, adjust the air-conditioning, and change the radio station without taking their hands off the steering wheel.
Taking center stage is either a 13.2 or 14.8-inch portrait touchscreen that operates the climate control, sat-nav, audio options and vehicle settings as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Drivers can be at ease knowing there is a full suite of Advanced Driving Assistance Systems, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking. There’s also up to 8 airbags protecting occupants from any unfortunate accidents.
Bold styling from every angle
The J7 blends modern design and rugged styling to create an SUV with an undeniable road presence.
This is achieved with Jaecoo’s waterfall grille, flanked by slimline LED daytime running lights and stacked LED headlights.
At the rear, an upmarket lightbar incorporates the taillights and ‘JAECOO’ nameplate, while the bumper integrates neatly with the bodywork.
The generous ground clearance and pronounced wheel arches also underscore the J7’s adventurous personality.
Further adding to the J7’s distinctive exterior are 5 unique colours that include Forest Green (no cost), Arctic White, Lunar Silver, Ocean Blue and Carbon Black (all $600).
The Ridge variant can also be optioned with a black roof ($500).
Power meets efficiency
Powering the J7 is a refined 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine, which delivers an engaging 137kW @ 5500rpm and 275Nm @ 2000rpm – 4000rpm.
The engine partners with a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the J7 is available in two- or all-wheel drive.
Fuel use is rated at just 7.0L/100km and emits 163g/km of CO2 on the combined cycle for the two- wheel drive while the AWD returns 7.8L/100km and 181g/km.
Jaecoo J7 All Wheel Drive capability
The intelligent AWD system includes as many as 7 driving modes, allowing the Jaecoo J7 to adapt to a wide variety of surfaces by dynamically adjusting the vehicle’s responses in real time. So, whether navigating urban streets or muddy terrain, the system handles each driving scenario with finesse and capability.
The advanced TORQUE VECTORING all-wheel drive system not only allows for faster and safer cornering but also increases the cross-country ability of the JAECOO J7. This system features a special rear differential with two clutches regulating torque to the left and right rear wheels, delivering power to the wheels with traction.
Warranty to take you further
Jaecoo will offer a comprehensive warranty period which covers the J7 for 8 years and unlimited kilometres.
This also includes 12 months complimentary roadside assistance, with the opportunity of extending this for a further 7 years by completing servicing at authorised Jaecoo dealers.
To make it easier for customers to maintain their vehicles, Jaecoo offers capped price servicing for the first 8 scheduled services for only $2952 (2WD) and $3322 (AWD). Details as follows:
