JK Wrangler Golden Eagle and Freedom in Australia

JK Jeep Wrangler Limited Editions

Jeep Wrangler – relied upon through the ages by hundreds of thousands of troops around the world, Jeep has proudly served and supported the pursuit of freedom. Today, that legacy lives on with Jeep Australia adding two new exciting JK Wrangler limited editions touching down on Australian shores; the “Golden Eagle” and the “Freedom” editions.

JK Jeep Golden Eagle & Freedom Edition

Packed with unique features, these exclusive Wranglers signal a stylish throwback to two of Jeep’s most popular special edition models and are available to order now from any Jeep Dealership.

Guillaume Drelon, Jeep Australia Brand Director, said, “Since its inception the Wrangler has served as the ultimate Jeep icon as well as the world’s most capable off-road SUV.

“With lineage that can be traced back to the legendary Willys Jeep – which were once produced here in Australia – these Wrangler heritage editions tie back to Jeep’s military origins with the ‘Freedom Edition” and to one of the most popular special editions back in the 80s with the “Golden Eagle”.

“We are very excited to bring them to Australia and pay tribute to Jeep’s heritage with these two stylish and bold Limited Editions,” he added.

JK Jeep Freedom Edition

Born on the battlefield in the 1940s, Jeep has remained synonymous with the US Armed Forces and the famed Willys Jeep of World War II. Taking inspiration from Jeep’s iconic military heritage, the Wrangler Freedom Edition continues the legacy in 2018.

Adorned throughout the vehicle, Oscar Mike logos represent a military call sign. When understood as part of the military phonetic alphabet ‘O’ is for Oscar and ‘M’ is for Mike. Together the term can be simply understood as O-M – more commonly understood as “On-the-Move” – a fitting adjective for the Wrangler Freedom.
