Lexus UX250h AWD Sports Luxury 2022 Review

We drove the Lexus UX 250H on a road test review

Lexus UX250h – Lexus UX comes in choice of either petrol, hybrid petrol or electric variants. Today we are chatting about the UX250h petrol hybrid version.

Lexus UX 250h front qtr The Lexus UX is a stylish compact urban based SUV that has the full array of safety features. Inside it is typically Lexus, which means luxurious and well laid out. UX is comfortable more for two people as the rears seats are tight, but that’s probably the typical number anyway.

Fit and finish is excellent and heated seats are comfortable. The driver instruments and central screen easy to read but I’m not a fan of the mouse style touch pad, for the controls for the central screen.

Lexus ux 250h interior

The UX 250h comes with a 2.0-litre 131kW UX 250h regular hybrid petrol engine that drive through an AWD drivetrain and a CVT.

This provides enough driving zip for around town and will cruise easily on the freeway. Economy is excellent and we used around 5.0L/100k on our week long test. The UX was quiet and smooth to drive and is ideal as a city runabout and weekend getaway car.

Hybrid cars are often a better choice for buyers that want better economy without any range anxiety. Lexus and Toyota do hybrids as good as anyone in the market.

Priced from around $64,100 plus the usual costs it’s relatively well priced especially against the all-electric version.
