Nissan Navara ST Dual Cab Lifestyle Review

BRIANNA AND ALEX NISSAN NAVARA ST ROAD TEST REVIEW

Nissan Navara:-

We had the Nissan Navara ST for a week and found that the dual cab layout proved more versatile than we thought. Brianna and Alex, our two resident Gen-Y or Millennial writers used the Ute for the week and delivered Brianna’s flower wall to a couple of functions. This is real world reviewing at its basic level.

Here’s what they thought:-

Nissan Navara ST

Nissan Navara ST Fit for purpose:-

Alex said: For a bigger bloke like me, the  driver seat in the Navara ST is very comfortable with great lumber support. The smoothness of the Ute was very surprising, it felt like I was driving a very comfortable SUV.

Great sound system and entertainment features for Bluetooth and navigation system. I am a musician and found the interior space, very spacious and I was easily able to fit all of my drum equipment in without needing the tub.

Brianna said: The Navara ST dual cab, has plenty of space with it being able to fit in my 2.4×2.4 flower wall when taken down, with the flower panels laid along the back seat and the 2m poles sit perfectly in the middle from the dash to the back.

This is perfect for my hire business especially in the winter days when the tub filled with rain as it doesn’t have a cover.

Nissan Navara ST Design:-

Alex said: I found the exterior rugged and simple with nothing too spectacular about just a good looking Ute.

The interior was very surprisingly sleek and stylish for a Ute with a plush suede like seats, and a good visible dashboard.

Brianna said: The Nissan Navara ST looks great, very sleek, great seats, the dashboard is neat, set out well, easy usable, was surprising to me for a Ute and quiet enjoyed the extra stylishness it had to offer.

Nissan Navara ST Performance:-

Alex said: Extremely smooth ride, with lots of power and pretty decent fuel economy. Steering and handling felt very easy and effortless.

Brianna said: I needed to deliver a cake about 45 mins away. It was a very easy drive holding the cake and not needing to worry about corners or bumps due to the smooth shifts.

Nissan Navara ST Comfort:-

Alex said: I felt very supported in all of the seats, in particular the driver seat, which was very beneficial for my back as I’ve just come off an injury in my tail bone which makes sitting awkward however with the comfort of the car the trips were easier.

Brianna said: It is quiet at cruising speeds and you forget that you’re in a Ute due to the feel. The Navara  has comfortable seats especially for long drives and is very smooth in every way possible. Great fuel use and not too big which is great for car parks.

Nissan Navara ST Verdict:-

Alex said: For its price range (around $51,000 RDAP in Sydney) and functionality I think it is a Ute packed with value and features, compared to other Utes in its range and currently on the market.

Brianna said: I think the Nissan Navara ST is a great Ute, with a car-like feel and all the benefits of a Ute. Great space for your family in the back or storage on rainy days (with a cover for the tub).

The cab being perfect space for all loads heavy and big. Not too big of a car for everyday use, smooth, comfortable, handles wet weather.
