Nissan Pathfinder 2023 model update

Is the new Pathfinder any good

Nissan Pathfinder – Nissan has just reintroduced the Pathfinder model after being absent for nearly two years

2023 Nissan Pathfinder Ti-L exterior

The Pathfinder has morphed over its 30 year history, from rugged dual range 4wd, through to soft roader and now returns somewhat to its roots with an on demand single range 4WD system depending on the model.

The new model comes with one engine, a 3.5L V6 Petrol delivering 202kW / 340Nm and drives through a nine speed AT.

There are four models. The ST 2WD, ST-L AWD. The Ti comes in either 2WD or AWD and the top spec TI-L comes in AWD only.

Most models have 8 seats, but the top spec TI-L has seven, with middle row captain’s chairs that are heated for extra comfort on cold days.

Both rear seats fold flat for a cavernous cargo area. And an abstract fact, there are 16 cup holders, for eight people.

The new Pathfinder has a 2700kg tow rating with a 270kg tow ball weight. That’s more than a Kluger, Sorrento or Santa Fe, and firmly sets the Pathfinder in the adventure category. Perfect for weekend adventures with boats, jet skis, camper trailers and more

Having the Pathfinder back, gives buyers yet another choice in an already crowded and competitive segment that is embracing hybrid and PEV engines.

Pricing os from $54,190 through to $80,227 plus the usual costs.
