1989 Nissan 300ZX

The 280ZX in 1978 was the start of what I call the fat and bloated era, personified by the 300ZX in the late 1980’s that was little more than a luxurious sporty looking coupe. All show and little go, much like the late 80’S.

2002 Nissan 350Z

In 2002 the Z cars started to find their way again with the 350Z and the 370Z in 2008 brought the Z car back towards its roots. Sporty, sleek and more balanced than it had been for quite a while.

2022 Nissan Z

If we fast forward to 2022 and the Z Performance car is about to be released. Today, the all-new Nissan Z is still equipped with a six-cylinder engine (though now a 3.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V6). The power on offer has almost tripled the 240Z, to 298kW.

To celebrate, Nissan arranged a family reunion for the ‘Z’ performance car. One headlined by the limited-edition Nissan Z Proto Spec — in Sydney.
