508 GT PHEV – Peugeot released the 508 GT in 2019 and earlier this year added the PHEV version to the range.
There is enough electric only range for many daily drives at 55km (WLTP) with an 11.8kWh battery capacity. We got 42-45 km in real life. It’s like the ADR fuel figures for petrol cars, no one gets near the official figures.

In electric mode the driving style is like all electric cars with engine and regenerative braking
Peugeot’s e-SAVE function allows the driver to save or regenerate all or part of the battery to be used at their discretion throughout the journey.
Like the petrol 508 GT the PHEV comes well equipped with both comfort, safety and luxury features. It also happens to come wrapped in one of the most stylish designs on the market today.
Charging at home is convenient but does take some time, fast charger are the go.
Like all PHEV vehicles my biggest gripe is the price premium. The 508 GT PHEV is priced from $81,610 plus the usual costs and that’s a premium of some $16,000. That buys a lot of petrol
