ŠKODA Kodiaq RS AWD SUV 2022 Review

Is the ŠKODA Kodiaq RS any good

Kodiaq RS – ŠKODA Kodiaq competes in the competitive seven seat SUV segment. I spent the week in the latest RS version and as always walked away impressed.

2022 ŠKODA KODIAQ RS

Priced from $74,990 drive away the Kodiaq comes with 2.0L turbo petrol engine that has power of 180kW and torque of 370Nm from as low as 1600rpm. This drives all four wheels through a 7 Sp DSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox)

Its zippy enough with a 0-100kmh time if 6.6 seconds and top speed of 233kmh. On top of this its smooth, quiet and responsive to drive and provides a fun driver engagement.

The large central screen has crisp resolution and displays the drive mode select function amongst other features.

ŠKODA Kodiaq RS has some clever design features such as wireless smartphone charging and connectivity, virtual cockpit that is configurable and door edge protection that folds out when they open.

Rear seats are relegated to the occasional smaller occupant but there is plenty luggage space with hooks and a cargo net.

On top of that it’s packed with driver technology and safety features.

The Kodiaq RS additions include special 20 inch alloy wheels, sporty RS interior leather and black exterior highlights.

Kodiaq RS should be on your list for a fun, well priced, clever seven seat SUV
