ŠKODA Scala 110 TSI Monte Carlo 2021 Review

ŠKODA Scala.  ŠKODA is one of those brands that has been around for a while as part of the VW group, but suffers slightly from some perception confusion in Australia amongst consumers.

This however is unjustified as the models they have available are well known and received in Europe. The latest addition to the range launched in January this year is the Scala, a smaller wagon styled vehicle which goes slightly against the SUV revolution and is good to see.

SCALA will be offered with the familiar and zippy 110TSI turbocharged petrol engine, driven through either a six-speed manual or seven- speed DSG transmission, across three range variants: 110TSI, Monte Carlo and – initially – the Launch Edition.

A 10.25 inch high definition virtual cockpit is standard across the range as is a tablet styled infotainment system touch screen. There are also quite a few clever interior design features such as interior ambient lighting.

Priced from $26,990 drive away for the entry level through to $35,990 for the value packed launch edition that is limited in availability. It represents fantastic value for money in a quality European brand.
