At the Los Angeles Auto Show this month the maker of Subaru cars Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), has announced the world premiere of the Subaru BRZ Concept–STI (Subaru Tecnica International).
The concept car is based on the Subaru BRZ, an all-new rear-wheel drive compact sports car, which is due to be unveiled in production form at Tokyo Motor Show at the end of the month.
Featuring Subaru’s core technology of the horizontally-opposed Boxer engine, the model has a low centre of gravity that results in a “pure handling delight,” according to FHI.
STI is Subaru’s performance division.
L.A. Auto Show press days are November 16 and 17. It is open to the public from November 18 to 27.
